If you are a parent, you might have signed your child up to receive books from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library each month. It a fantastic program. Dolly, with help from the United Way and other sponsors, has given away 45 million books to children across the county since the program started in 1995.
The program is great. More than 650,000 kids across the country receive a book for free in their mailbox every month until their fifth birthday. As kids grow older, however, they or their parents might want to donate the books to schools, or libraries, or other kids, and when they do, they often want to remove the mailing label from the book. The problem? Well, the adhesive is really strong and the labels are really difficult to remove.
And these books aren't the only ones you'll find with these difficult-to-remove stickers. College textbooks or old books you might have bought from the library or a used book store often have them, as well.
So, how do you remove them? Watch our latest video to learn how.
